The phenomenon of consumption is one of the fundamental components of the economic lifestyle, which holds a special place in the value system of Islam. The Holy Quran, as the ultimate word of God in guiding humanity, offers a complete blueprint for lifestyle in most domains, especially the economic sphere. Allameh Tabataba'i, in his Tafsir al-Mizan, with a comprehensive view of the Quranic verses, presents clear principles and a framework for the consumption behavior of Muslims; a framework based on values such as contentment, moderation, avoidance of extravagance and wastefulness, attention to the hereafter, social responsibility, and charity. The present study, utilizing qualitative analysis and a descriptive-analytical approach, examines the theoretical foundations and behavioral dimensions of consumption in Allameh Tabataba'i’s thought and reinterprets his exegetical ideas regarding the geometry of consumption in the Quran. This research demonstrates that Allameh presents an ethical and efficient model in the domain of consumption; a model that, in the light of Quranic teachings, leads to human transcendence and social justice. Offering an executive and practical framework for consumption, through the analysis of Allameh's perspective, is among the tangible achievements of this research.
